Lather Labs was founded in Cleveland Heights, OH after its chief scientist wanted soap with the richest lather and most powerful therapeutic aroma. Starting with recipes on the internet, nothing met expectation―minimal suds, weak scents, boring colors. The scientist set to work, thinking of ways to make not only a bar of soap, but the best bar of soap imaginable.

At Lather Labs, each bar is a product of a decade of experimentation using the cold process method (perhaps first done in Babylon over 5000 years ago).

• Lather is a defining feature of our soap. We named our small business in its honor. This lather reflects years of research. You'll not find a soap with more dirt-busting power than ours!

• Essential Oil―We don't skimp on scent. All of our soap also uses a generous helping of essential oils (and only essential oils!) to craft a therapeutic and aromatic experience that indulges the senses. We use pure essential oil only. None of that fragrance or industrial stuff. Every shower is guaranteed be a spa-like experience!
