Lather Labs was founded in Cleveland Heights, OH after the founder, a scientist by trade, wanted to find a way to make a bar of soap with rich lather and powerful therapeutic aroma. Starting with recipes on the internet, nothing met expectation -- minimal suds, weak scents, boring colors. So, the founder set to work, thinking of ways to make not only a bar of soap, but the best bar of soap imaginable.
At Lather Labs, each bar is a product of a decade of meticulous experimentation and refinement using the cold process method (perhaps first done in Babylon over 5000 years ago).

Lather: Our lather is a defining feature of our soap. It is such a focus, we named our small business in its honor. This lather reflects years of empirical research. You'll not find a soap with more dirt-busting power than ours!
Essential Oil. We don't skimp on scent. All of our soap also uses a generous helping of essential oils (and only essential oils!) to craft a therapeutic and aromatic experience that indulges the senses. Every shower will be a spa-like experience!
